The IMI-GetReal Glossary Working Group acknowledged there is a debate around many of these terms, and in some cases no clear consensus has been reached in the international community. However, for the purposes of the IMI-GetReal these are the proposed definitions.

Real-World Evidence Study Design Landscape Tool

An online-tool to support the selection of RWE Study Designs, appropriate for the research question and stakeholders’ evidence needs.

RWE Navigator

The RWE Navigator is an output of the IMI GetReal project. GetReal aimed to show how robust new methods of real-world evidence (RWE) collection and synthesis could be adopted earlier in pharmaceutical research and development (R&D) and the healthcare decision-making process.

GetReal Trial Tool

The GetReal Trial Tool is a decision support tool to assess the impact of design choices on generalizability of clinical trials to routine clinical practice, while taking into account the risk of bias, precision, acceptability and operational feasibility.
