Dear Partners and Stakeholders,

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Christine Leopold, representing the University of Utrecht, as an interim Board Member at GetReal Institute. This appointment is made in accordance with the Institute’s Articles of Association, which allow for temporary appointments to fill vacancies. 

Following the recent call for nominations and discussions at this year’s Annual General Meeting, Christine graciously stepped forward on behalf of Utrecht University to fill the remaining vacant academic seat. We are delighted to welcome her to the Board. 

While this appointment addresses an immediate need, we remain committed to a transparent process. We will continue to seek additional nominations from the membership to permanently fill this seat, as well as the remaining vacancies on the Board. If further candidates are nominated, an election will be conducted. In the meantime, if the number of nominations matches the available positions, we will proceed with a formal motion for approval at the next Annual General Meeting (AGM), scheduled for 2025.
