We are excited to share some important leadership updates at the GetReal Institute as we embark on a new chapter of growth and innovation. While we begin the process of recruiting a new permanent Managing Director, we are pleased to announce that Melinda Daumont has been appointed as Interim Managing Director, on a part-time basis, effective immediately.

With over 15 years of experience gained across academia and the pharmaceutical industry, Melinda brings deep experience and innovation in real-world research to the GetReal Institute. She has held leadership positions in Epidemiology and HEOR at Merck, Bayer, and Bristol Myers Squibb. In these roles she has advanced real-world research capabilities and methods, worked with regulatory and HTA bodies to leverage outcomes research, and built multi-stakeholder research collaborations delivering impactful real-world evidence.

With Melinda’s leadership, under the direction of the GetReal Board, and supported by the Secretarial Team, we are confident that the Institute is well-positioned to grow further through this transition. Together, they will ensure seamless operations while unlocking new opportunities to advance the adoption of RWE in regulatory, HTA, and clinical decision-making across Europe.
